Exploring Improvised Scene Work

Our outdoor classes are safe, fun, and engaging!

A person studying improvisation enjoys varying levels of benefits including: gaining confidence on stage (and in life) to react in the moment, improving one’s ability to be thoughtful or witty, a deeper understanding of listening, and much, much more.

Improv artist Billy Tierney leads classes that involve improvised scene work with feedback, notes, and challenges; exercises that enable students to break out of unproductive patterns; and discussion on the fine art of improvisation.

ABOUT BILLY TIERNEY

More serious than his name suggests, sometimes silly, nearly always connecting, Billy has been studying, performing, teaching, and living improvisation for more than half his life. He thoroughly enjoys teaching people the art and craft of improvisation, and expressly delights in the observance of the growth of his students’ improv skills.
