WHIDBEY WEEKLY ARTICLE

"WICA brings a touch of brilliance to the stage" by Kathy Reed

WORD OF MOUTH

“We just had the rare treat of observing a dress rehearsal of Every Brilliant Thing at WICA. it was indeed a very brilliant thing…moving, loving, honest, beautifully staged, and brilliantly presented with warmth, sincerity, honesty—and the perfect touch of humor by the gifted Billy Tierney. This could become a very tough ticket. Once was not enough for us. I heartily encourage you to find the time to see it.” - Jim Carroll

“We all left feeling like we had experienced something truly special and beautiful. I’m struggling to describe just exactly what the show is about. It deals with suicide but it’s so much more…poignant and funny and marvelous. It’s a one man show featuring Billy Tierney, an extremely talented human, directed with heart and love by Deana Duncan. Billy is open, and honest, and vulnerable and kind, and I think everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy his gift. I just want to go get everyone I know and bring them to this show.” - Christina Boom
