LE WEEKEND EN FRANÇAIS
1h 30min | Crime, Drama | 1961 (France)
“Modern movies begin here, with Jean-Luc Godard's Breathless. No debut film since Citizen Kane has been as influential.” — Roger Ebert
A small-time thief (Jean-Paul Belmondo) steals a car and impulsively murders a motorcycle policeman. Wanted by the authorities, he reunites with a hip American journalism student (Jean Seberg) and attempts to persuade her to run away with him to Italy.
Enjoy the weekend's signature cocktail, "Kir Imperial," and Parisian wine cellar concerts recorded by DjangoFest favorite Aurore Voilque before the screening!
