Join us on Sunday, October 13th, right after the matinee for The Cake, for a discussion with Bobbe Bridge and Justice Mary Yu. They will delve into the state of Washington’s same-sex marriage rulings and continue the conversation on the role of state and federal Supreme Courts, just weeks before the 2024 Presidential election.

The two will reflect on a historic moment in U.S. history. Nearing midnight on December 8, 2012, couples began to line up at the King County Courthouse. Judge Mary Yu was there to greet them, performing Washington’s first same-sex marriages in a marathon session that lasted until about 7 a.m.
