Please join us at WICA for the opening reception of Earl Lasher's watercolor show, "A Watercolor Perspective," Saturday and Sunday, May 5th and 6th from 2 - 5 pm.
"Most of my paintings are of landscapes and boats. They appear more impressionist than realistic. I have done some figurative work, as well as abstracts. When I paint, it is in such a way as to leave the viewer room to complete or interpret what I have invoked. I make several suggestions by directing the eye through the painting with interesting shapes, changes of value, and color. I also try to suggest a story or create an impression that will elicit an emotion or memory that pleases the viewer." - Earl Lasher
The show will be up the month of May. 50% of the proceeds go to WICA.
Free and open to all.
